Sheer Nylons was first conceived in the year 2000 as a means of selling & buying Vintage Stockings from around the world from collectors & avid nylon enthusiasts. Once this took off we got involved in buying real vintage lingerie dating back to the 1950's and 60's. We came across some real fabulous pieces which sold well. So it was only a matter of time before we saw the appeal of selling retro lingerie & hosiery to continue where the Vintage left off.
We have a very healthy obsession with the Golden Age of Glamour and particularly the way women of the 1940's and 1950's dressed to the nines whatever the time or day. Everything screamed 'style, glamour & chic'. From the gloves, the bags, the hats & the shiny nylons on their legs.
We believe that today's modern woman deserves to look & feel fabulous at all times. Even if the stresses of modern day takes it's toll, every woman should treat herself to a small gift of lingerie & hosiery. Small tokens of luxury can make her feel sexy & special. And we strongly advocate that women should be made to feel special whatever the occasion.
